Carmen Winstead

This story is also called "Chain Letter" and "They Pushed Her". You will see why in a moment.

Carman Winstead was forced to move to Indiana because her father couldn't find a job to pay bills. It was the middle of the school year and no one was interested in getting to know the 17 year old new girl. Most days saw the girl walking to class alone.

Then, one day, five girls started to talk to her. Things started to look up for dear Carmen. That is, until she found out the five were talking about her behind her back. She called them out.

The bullying began. They started out calling her awful names and making fun of her, but it soon escalated. Carmen would often find her locker vandalized, hateful words written on her desk and books, and yogurt lining her bookbag. The straw that broke the camel's back was when she put her coat on at recess and found dog poo in her pockets. She decided to tell the teacher after school.

But this resolve came too late. The teacher announced that a fire drill would take place that afternoon. When the alarm went off, everyone went outside. The five bullies decided to torment poor Carmen some more. They crowded her and said awful things. They pushed her towards an open manhole until she fell in. The evil girls just laughed.

The teacher then did a roll call. When he got to Carmen, the girls said that she was in the sewer. The teacher looked in, as did her laughing classmates, and saw Carmen covered in poo. The laughter ended. Carmen's head was at a strange angle and she wasn't moving. Her head was covered in blood. The police were called. It was determined that she had fallen in and broken her neck and that her face had been ripped off on the ladder as she fell.

This horrified the five girls. The police questioned everyone. When asked what had happened, the bullies lied and said that Carmen had simply fallen into the hole. The police believed them. Carmen's death was ruled accidental and the case closed.

A few months later, the whole class got an e-mail titled "They Pushed Her". It told how Carmen had been pushed and warned the guilty people to confess or suffer the consequences. Many though it a hoax and dismissed the email.

A few days later, one of the bullies was taking a shower and heard a girl laughing. It sounded like it was coming from the drain. Frightened, the girl quickly got out and went to bed. That night, the girl's mother heard a noise from her daughter's room. When she went in, her daughter was missing. She called the police. The bully was found in the sewer, covered in muck. Her neck was broken and her face missing. One after another, all five girls ended up dead, neck snapped and face missing in the same manhole where Carmen died.

And it didn't stop there. The classmates that hadn't believed the email and didn't pass it along were also found dead in the sewer. They say that Carmen is still killing to this day.

So, for safty's sake and to support antibullying, paste this link on your social media site of choice. You can even title it "They Pushed Her" for added protection! If you don't, they say you will hear laughter coming from the drains of your house. When you go to sleep, you will wake up in the sewer, paralyzed, listening to Carmen laugh at you. As you scream in terror, Carmen comes to rip off your face and kill you.

So, don't bully people or Carmen will get you. Remember, THEY PUSHED HER!
