The Cursed Video

Three friends were having a sleepover. They were big horror fans and wanted to rent a movie to watch that night. The get in one girl's car and drive to the nearest rental store. However, they find it closed for the night. They travel all over town, but all the rental places were closed. They eventually get near the edge of town and find one store open.

The three girls parked the car and ran inside, excited. The store looked like it was on its last leg but the posters showed it specializes in horror films. They browsed the shelves. Nothing grabbed their fancy, so they went to the counter to ask the clerk, an elderly woman, what she recommend. The clerk said she might have something that they would like in the back.

The Boyfriend

A couple was driving down a deserted road late at night. As they drove, the night became darker and darker. The girlfriend was becoming worried. Soon, the car sputtered to a stop. The boyfriend noticed that they were out of gas. No matter how many times he turned the key, his car just wouldn't turn on. Finally, he said that he would have to go back to the main road for help, since there were no houses nearby.

The girlfriend didn't like the idea of being left alone. Seeing her concern, her boyfriend folder her not to worry. He wasn't too confident, so he told her to keep the windows rolled up and the doors locked. He said he would be back ASAP and then he left.

Unkillable Gopher

One day, a student finds a gopher at school. He takes the animal to the custodians to be taken care of. The three men had other ideas.

The janitors decided to kill he large rodent. First, they sprayed solvent on the creature. This solvent was used to remove gum from floors and undersides of desks, so it was strong stuff. However, the poisonous spray did nothing to the gopher.

Lucedio Abbey

This haunting begins when the Cistercian monks lived here in the year 1123. People were sent here to receive judgement, get baptized, and more. The monks even introduced rice cultivation to the area! But, the monks had turned their backs on God and the Christian faith, instead turning to worshiping the devil.

The Abbey became a place of nightmares. The monks often kidnapped vilagers and sacrificed them to their dark master. Eventually, the Catholic church found out what was happening at Lucedio. They had the fallen monks put on trial. They were executed and the Abbey shut down.

Corney

Corney is a ghost that was just a wee bit mischievous. The family that first owned his in Dublin knew when this poltergeist was around by the mimiced sound of a cane on the floor. He would then speak loudly to the family and servants. He was named Corney by the family. He accepted it butmade sure everyone knew it wasn't his name.

Corney was a complete nuisance. He played pranks on the terrified servants constantly. They thought he was confused to coal cellar in the kitchen and asked for quarters on the upper floors. It was soon clear Corney wasn't confined to one area. One, the pranks moved with the servants. And two, he said so.

With the barrier between the realms of the living and dead growing weaker this time of year, we should look at other days to celebrate the dearly departed.
