Crescent Hotel, Eureka Springs, AR

This hotel is reportedly one of the most haunted in America. The tortured past of this building is filled with murder, false hope, and torture.

Norman Baker acquired the hotel during the Great Depression. He was a radio host that clamed that he had found a secret to curing a fatel desease... Cancer. He said that those who wanted to get this miracle cure needed to go he hotel, which he dubbed the Castle in the sky.

But strange things would happen. Every night, at about 3 in the morning, a cart was wheeled down the hallway. The "patients" were told that some people had either become violent or were being too loud and were disturbing their neighbors. It was found later, that the cart was wheeling dead bodies down to the basement to the incinerator.

Baker didn't want it known that his scam to make money off of desperate people was killing them. So, he burned the bodies, and simply said that they were in a special care ward. Contact with family and friends was prohibited.
